Our client is a media company, part of a large group with a highly international team.
 
Leonid Group have been retained to find new talent to join the Operations & Finance Audit team.
This team’s purpose is to act as an independent partner to ensure good and responsible Corporate Governance. The department’s objective audit and consulting services are designed to create added value and improve the business processes of our clients’ group of companies.
 
 
As an Internal Audit Manager, your responsibilities will include:
 
  • Supporting and coordinating the strategic and audit-related tasks of the team.
  • Managing yearly audit schedules and ensuring adherence to deadlines.
  • Assisting in preparing strategic presentations and reports for senior management.
  • Coordinating the audit planning process, maintaining audit resources, and generating audit reports.
  • Leading and mentoring a team, ensuring professional development and high-quality audit outcomes.
  • Collaborating with other departments to assess risk management and internal controls across various business functions, with a focus on IFRS compliance and reporting.
 
Requirements:
 
  • You have a bachelor’s degree or completion of a commercial apprenticeship.
  • 6+ years of experience.
  • Experience in internal audit.
  • Fluency in English and German. Other linguistic capabilities can be considered (and welcomed in addition!).
  • Proven expertise in auditing, with experience in managing audit teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex issues.
  • Experience with IFRS compliance, and working knowledge of IFRS reporting standards.
  • Experience with ERP systems and using data analytical tools in audits (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, including excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.
  • Team-player with a strong motivation to continuously learn and grow professionally.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
