Internal Auditor - Commercial Operational Audits

My client is a world-renowned Swedish multinational company that designs, develops, and manufactures heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and engines. Leonid Group has been retained to find new talent to join the Group Internal Audit team. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Operations Audits, you will work closely with the Regional Director, Regional CFO, as well as Management, Process Owners, and stakeholders.

 

As an Internal Auditor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting and coordinating the internal audit process from preparation, fieldwork, and reporting in an end-to-end perspective.
  • Participating in the annual audit needs assessment process and the preparation of the annual audit plan.
  • Working closely with internal and external teams, as well as partners in audits, to highlight issues and propose solutions. You will be responsible for following up on findings.
  • Developing audit processes and methodologies, enhancing data-driven audits using data analytics to increase the assurance and accuracy level of audits.
  • Building cross-functional networks, working independently, maintaining up-to-date awareness of relevant internal and external requirements, and evaluating issues around risks and controls.
Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Computer/Data Science, or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of experience as an Auditor.
  • Fluency in English. Other linguistic capabilities can be considered (and welcomed in addition!).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of ERP systems and experience in using data analytical tools in audits (SAP, Oracle, Power BI, ACL, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, quick comprehension of complex issues.
  • Excellent communication skills on different levels, including strong report writing skills, confident manner, and persuasive capacity.
  • Team-player, eager to learn, and self-motivated.
  • Ready to travel internationally.
