As a Senior R&D Tax Manager, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic R&D tax credit consulting services to clients. This position offers an opportunity to lead and mentor a team, shape clients' tax strategies, and contribute to the company's long-term growth and innovation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and manage R&D tax credit projects
• Effectively manage multiple client engagements and client service teams.
• Possess a strong knowledge of IRS rules and regulations, as well as state and local tax laws.
• Demonstrate proficiency in 1120s, personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns.
• Utilize technical skills and experience with research and development deduction and credit, including Internal Revenue Code sections 174 & 41.
• Be willing to travel up to 35% as needed to visit clients.
• Exhibit strong leadership and team management abilities, fostering a collaborative and results-driven environment.
• Participate in strategic planning sessions, leveraging tax expertise to contribute to the company's long-term growth and innovation initiatives.
Your profile:
• Bachelor's degree
• CPA or EA qualified
• 6 - 10 years of recent experience in R&D tax credit consulting.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
