Associate Director - UAE

Leonid Group has been retained by a leading international consultancy to find a commercially minded Associate Director to drive their growth strategy in the UAE.

 

As an Associate Director, you will lead from the front, taking ownership of business development by identifying, pursuing, and securing new clients while personally generating significant revenue and building a robust pipeline of opportunities. In addition, you will play a pivotal role in building, leading, and developing a high performing team capable of delivering sustained commercial success. You will foster a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement, providing clear direction, coaching, and mentorship to maximise both individual and team performance.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Revenue Growth

  • Identify and prioritise key industries, target markets, and strategic client accounts to maximise revenue opportunities.
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strong personal sales pipeline while overseeing the performance and quality of the wider team's pipeline.
  • Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building to ensure a consistent flow of qualified leads.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed ambitious individual and team revenue targets.

 

Team Leadership and Development

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high performing sales team through effective coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Ensure team members receive ongoing training and development in relevant tax legislation, client industries, sales methodologies, and best practice.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance that reflects the Company's values and commercial objectives.
  • Set clear objectives, KPIs, and performance expectations, regularly reviewing progress and taking appropriate action to drive results.

 

Prospect and Client Relationship Management

  • Lead meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations with high value prospects, supporting team members on strategic opportunities where required.
  • Build, develop, and maintain long term relationships with key decision makers and executive level stakeholders.
  • Deliver an exceptional client experience, identifying opportunities to maximise client retention, growth, and long term value.

 

Sales Operations and Process

  • Drive effective use of the CRM, ensuring accurate pipeline management, reporting, and sales analytics.
  • Establish and maintain robust lead qualification, forecasting, and pipeline management processes to improve conversion rates and revenue predictability.
  • Work closely with delivery and operational teams to align service offerings with client needs and market demand.
  • Attend monthly leadership meetings, providing detailed reporting and analysis on key performance metrics.
