R&D Tax - Associate Director of Sales
We're partnering with a fast-growing international R&D tax consultancy, a market leader in its home markets that has recently expanded into new regions with an ambitious growth strategy.
They are now looking for an Associate Director of Sales to lead from the front, winning new business personally while building and developing a high-performing sales team.
The Role
This is a senior, hands-on leadership position combining personal revenue generation with team building. You will identify and secure new clients through proactive prospecting, networking and relationship building, and build a robust pipeline of opportunities. You will also lead, coach and mentor a sales team, setting clear objectives and KPIs and fostering a culture of accountability and high performance. Working closely with delivery and operational teams, you will report to the Commercial Director and play a pivotal role in shaping how the business grows in its new markets.
What you'll bring
- 10+ years' experience in professional services sales, including 5+ years in a senior sales leadership role
- A demonstrated ability to hit ambitious revenue targets and drive growth
- Experience selling six-figure engagements and presenting to executive-level stakeholders
- Expertise in CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales analytics
- Strong leadership, negotiation and strategic thinking skills
- Experience in high-growth or founder-led environments is preferred
- A results-oriented, adaptable and resilient approach, with a full driving licence
