Leonid Group is privileged to be retained by one of our longest-standing clients, a major logistics and transportation company in Dallas, Texas, to appoint a Director of Sustainability.
Role overview:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Sustainability to lead the development and execution of our sustainability and ESG strategy across a growing logistics and transportation network. This role will be responsible for integrating sustainability into business operations, driving emissions reduction initiatives, managing ESG reporting, and ensuring alignment with customer, investor, and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sustainability strategy and decarbonization roadmap.
- Lead GHG inventory and Scope 1, 2, and 3 reporting.
- Drive fleet electrification, alternative fuels, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Manage ESG reporting aligned with GRI, SASB, TCFD, CDP, and CSRD.
- Engage customers, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Lead sustainability governance, budgets, and employee engagement programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- 10+ years of sustainability or ESG leadership experience.
- Logistics, transportation, or supply chain industry experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GHG accounting and ESG reporting frameworks.
