Job Summary

This is a rare, high-impact role at the heart of a growing sustainability function. As the Global Product Sustainability Expert, you will combine deep product stewardship expertise with strategic program leadership to define and implement sustainability and compliance standards across multiple technology centers worldwide.

You will be the go-to expert for product compliance, advising R&D, procurement, and operations on safer materials, eco-design, and circular economy principles. This is an opportunity to shape processes, influence product lifecycles, and build a global compliance framework from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Global Product Stewardship

Own and interpret global product regulations, including RoHS, REACH, SVHC, SCIP, PFAS, TSCA, and emerging regulatory frameworks.
Lead hazardous substance tracking, regulatory reporting, and compliance documentation.
Advise internal teams and external stakeholders on substance compliance, risk, and sustainable alternatives.
Partner with R&D and procurement to drive material selection, eco-design, and safer product development.

Drive Strategic Programs

Lead the rollout of global sustainability tools and compliance databases across multiple technology centers.
Define governance, KPIs, and reporting structures for sustainability programs
Develop multi-year strategies for product compliance, circular economy practices, and end-of-life management.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed sustainability into every stage of the product lifecycle.

Be a Change-Maker

Act as a subject matter expert, training teams, guiding decision-making, and influencing global product strategies.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction, continuous improvement, and regulatory innovation.
Foster a culture of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and sustainability across all sites.

Who We're Looking For

5+ years’ experience in product stewardship, sustainability, or global compliance within regulated industries (medtech, pharma, chemicals, healthcare).
Deep understanding of hazardous substances, global regulations, and product lifecycle management.
Proven track record as a go-to expert influencing R&D, procurement, and operations.
Strong program management skills, including experience rolling out global digital compliance tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
English required; professional certifications in sustainability or product compliance are a plus.
