The opportunity

This role sits at the heart of their continued growth. You will take the lead on grant advisory projects, but you will also play an active part in winning work and shaping the future of the service line.

You will get involved in the entire lifecycle of grant funding. That means meeting clients early, exploring their plans with them, challenging their thinking, identifying opportunities and turning those ideas into compelling and competitive applications. It also means guiding them after the win, helping them deliver successfully and stay compliant.

Commercial instinct matters here. The team is looking for someone who enjoys speaking with clients, who can spot opportunities, who knows how to shape a proposal, structure fees and bring new work into the business with confidence.

What you will bring

Strong experience advising on UK grant schemes.
Broader exposure, such as innovation loans, Horizon Europe, regional growth grants or similar is a bonus.
The ability to deliver highly credible, high quality grant applications across a range of industries.
A commercial mindset. You should be comfortable meeting clients, building relationships and winning work, not just delivering it.
The confidence to manage a portfolio of clients and support junior colleagues.
Curiosity and a willingness to work across a mix of sectors including life sciences, advanced engineering, cleantech, agri tech, semiconductors and automotive.
