Senior Investigations Officer

Our client is a world-renowned Swedish multinational company that designs, develops, and manufactures heavy commercial vehicles, buses, and engines. They are seeking an experienced Senior Investigations Officer to join their Corporate Investigations team, reporting to the Head of Corporate Investigations within Group Governance, Risk, and Compliance. The position is based in Rugao and offers a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

The Corporate Investigation team is responsible for the intake of whistleblowing allegations, conducting plausibility checks, categorisation, and full-scale investigation, where applicable, including final legal assessment of the identified findings.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Build and manage the local investigations function.
  • Conduct investigations across multiple business areas.
  • Present findings to stakeholders, from operational teams to senior management.
  • Prepare dashboards, internal reports, and training materials for management and employees.
  • Serve as the on-site point of contact, ensuring investigations are conducted independently and professionally.

 

Required Experience & Skills:

 

  • 4+ years in investigations; ideally from Big 4 or legal/compliance background.
  • Complementary experience in audit, accounting, or related fields is a plus.
  • Fluent in Mandarin and English.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, flexible, independent, and highly motivated.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with stakeholders at all levels.
